We are an arts centred collective which aims to celebrate and raise awareness of Peat. We host Moorland, Mire and Moss inspired creative events which enhance understanding and the appreciation of Peat.
We join creative people together for open – ended conversations and collaboration. We are critically engaged, sharing and seeking knowledge to enrich our creative practice.
We promote the value of Peat as a unique and highly valuable bio-diverse habitat, an immense carbon store and as a natural flood defence.
We celebrate the natural, cultural, and archeological heritage of Peatlands in the Upper Calder Valley. A community within the Great North Bog.
